Hi All,

I currently have a scenario where I have 20 BB Devices, 15 users on Exchange 5.5 and 5 on Exchange 2003.

I have a BES 4.1.4, which is currently connected to the E2K3 box, but I am wondering if there was anyway that I could load the users from the 5.5 and have them connected until they are migrated over to the new Exchange.

Regards..

I am sorry, but i do not know what you mean by different organisations? They are on the same domain, different servers and have different members assigned to them.

Is the 5.5 exchange server and the 2K3 exchange server within the same Exchange Organisation? If you open up Exchange System Manager, the Org is the top level object. If both servers can be seen in ESM or if you just move mailboxes between the two versions of exchange, then they are in the same Org?

You mention that they are in the same domain, so I'm going to assume that they are in the same Org as there can only be one Org per AD Forest (can have many domains within the forest).

Anyway, if the two exchange servers are part of the same Org you can add users from both exchange servers to the BES. You just need to ensure that the BESAdmin account has the necessary permissions on the 5.5 Exchange server.

Regards
