2 different pictures in a report

I have tried putting 2 pictures in a report,but one picture comes up all the time if I put it in the details section.Do I need to add a different section?

You shouldn't need to use 2 different sections, although it wouldn't hurt to try it and see what happens. Anything you put into a detail band should print once per record in the report.

What version of CR?

The report that I want to put the pictures in is a sale catalog,and I would like to put different pictures in it.I have CR 7,and they are bmp images.

You mean a different picture for every detail, not just 2 pictures. The only way I know of would be to make the Picture a BLOB field in the database. You can't do it based on a stored path to a BMP.

Crystal's sample data has an example of a BLOB in the Employee table. At least in V8 it does, possibly in V7. Ken Hamady

buzzz: If the number of pictures you want aren't too many then you could place each in its' own details sub-section (e.g. details-a, details-b, details-c etc.) and then suppress those sub-sections you don't want to appear for certain user selected choices. Ken is also correct that there is no facility to select images in formulae but only through the use of BLOB's in the database. Another v8 facilty you could use if you upgrade is the hyperlink. This could give you a degree of formula control over which hyperlink gets used. David C. Monks
