Hi all!

I'm just thinking about a small idea...
My company is using a vpn server so that I can connect to it at home and get easy access to some files there!
The thing is that I don't want it to use the vpn while I'm connected for my other data transfer like mail and surfing...

I have 2 different network cards in my PC, both connected to my D-Link router, is there anyway I can make windows xp use one card for the vpn traffic and the other for the rest...
maybe some way to tell the router to forward all the vpn data to 1 IP and the rest to the others...

If it is a Windows vpn, then you go into the tcp/ip properties of the vpn connection (double-click the icon when it is connected) then advanced, and there is a checkbox for which gateway you want to use---choose to not use the remote computer gateway---then it will use yours instead. No need for the second NIC. You will need to close the connection and restart it for the change to take place. The default is to use the remote gateway.
Is this what you want???
