I have clone a volume from a file disk to a tape.

Question 1: I no longer need the file disk.
How to destroy the volume without destroying the ssids of the clone?

Question 2: One saveset has an abort flag

How to clone again in this tape?

A1: Use the command nsrstage instead of nsrclone.

A2: In this case i am afraid that you must clone each full save set from this media.

A1: We don't have this payable option

A2: That's what I want but it's not possible to clone a saveset twice on the same tape. I thonk I have to remove this aborted saveset from this tape.

to delete the old copies use nsrmm -y -d -S <ssid>/<cloneid>

take note that you SHOULD be deleting those that came from the source (disk) and NOT the clone copies (tape)

The usage of nsrstage does not cost a penny - it is a standard feature.

You are correct. A save set can only reside on a media once.
