Hi,

I have 2 check boxes for IDType ( IDType1, IDType2),
and 2 texboxes for the ID# for each type.
so on the form, it would look something like this
below (if you could just imagin it for a minute):

IDType1 ID#

IDType2 ID#

The user wants to be able to check on both types of IDs
and if there's ID#, they will enter for each.

My problem is in my table, there's only one column for IDType and one column for ID#, there's another column
for Office# which will be repeated if each office has
2 types of ID. The primary key here is the SeqID# which
is automatically generate a number and is not duplicate.

I can write code for INSERT STATEMENT to add either IDtype,
but how do you write to insert both IDTypes into 1 column?

does this make any sense? if you have any idea and can help
plz advise. thanks so much.

You shouldn't store two values in a single field. Are you sure you will only ever have two ID Types? Normally two value would create two records in a related table.
