Hi,
I have 2 BCM's connected via IP trunks. I'd like to use one voice mail to handle all messaging needs for both BCM's. Do I need MCDN key codes? How to CFNA from remote location to voice mail DN in the main office?

Lewmar

You need the MCDN keycodes on both BCM's. You can then CFNA to other sites, provided you allow redirect on the sets in question and the dialing plan is configured correctly.

You will need the amis keycode as well to enable the network function on the BCM

MCDN is for networking (nortel) switches,
AMIS is for (analog) networking voicemails

I dont think AMIS will be required for centralized voicemail application
correct me if i'm not correct ivent done this on a BCM

Message Networking links your voicemail system with voicemail systems at different locations. Message Networking uses Digital Networking and Audio Message Interchange Specification (AMIS) to let subscribers exchange messages with subscribers at other locations.
You must apply the Message Networking Software Authorization Code before your system can receive or send network messages. Contact your vendor to purchase or trial a software authorization code for Message Networking.

I thought you needed AMIS and Digital Networking

Sorry Senk1s

Miss read what they wanted to do yeah just need MCDN keycode and then setup CDP networking
