2 BCM 50 + VPN +2 LINKSYS +MCDN = MESS

Has anyone ever set up 2 bcm 50s with linksys routers to talk voip . Im afraid i need to use BSR 222 in order to make this work ? i have all keycodes installed MCDN and i have 2 public ip's to use one at each site .It would be great if i could use off the shelf routers

It's very simple. If the BSR222 router is not to your liking (very easy, only a couple hundred bucks and supportable), then get yourself two VPN type routers (linksys makes such animals)as endpoints and correctly build a Peer to Peer Branch tunnel.

Don't bother messing around with port forwarding. It will cause far more grief than it's worth.
