Hello All,

I have 2 BCM 1000's with VoIP trunks we will call site a the main and site b the remote. Site b is also set up for tandem dialing I built a remote package so they can dial 9 and access site a's trunks. The problem is when there are end users accessing programs from their desk tops or internet traffic the voice quality at site b sounds terrible if there is nothing going on like after hours the voice quality is great.I'm assuming this is a bandwidth issue but the remote site only has approx. 6 computers and 6 T7316's there are Sonic Wall routers at both locations with a VPN is there something that I can change with the routers to allow the voice to receive priority over the data or can I get more bandwidth from the carrier what would you guys suggest cause since the systems have been installed I'm GETTING CALLS ABOUT POOR VOICE QUALITY AT SITE B.

If this a dsl based solution. You will never get this working great you will always be at the mercy of the internet. You would need a MPLS or LES circuit to control the QOS etc.

Could you please give me more info about the MPLS & LES circuit I'm not familiar with this but it seems like I will have to be really soon...

To be honest they might not be available in your region. I am in the UK and the protocols and services might be different were you are. Simply put one is a leased line based on DSL with QOS from the network provider and the other is an TCP/IP based leased line.
