Hello all. This is my first post and i want to say i'm sorry for my poor english. I'm from Portugal and i have a problem. Made a flash web page and the swf has 2,5mb. I uploaded the files in my office server. In all the other pc's off the office, the page loads in about 5 seconds, but in any other computar outside de office it takes about 3 minutes to open....Can anybody tell me if it is the server problem or if there's any option on macromedia flash to make page loading faster...pppllleeeaaasseee....lol

Tanks in advance!!

2.5mb is large for an opening page

maybe look at spreading the load

2.5mb on a dial up may well take 3 mins

the problem sounds like user connection speed

there are ways around this by testing the download rate and redirecting as appropriate

Thanks in advance! Im the office, where the page is, we always have download speeds about 300/400 kb/s. At home i have +/- 200/300 kb per second. These 2.5mb is not an opening page. It's all the web page. Doesn't 2.5mb with these speeds, have do open quickly? What can i do to resove this question?

Thanks again!

i don´t have it in right now.....i'm not at my home. But tell me please, don't you think its strage. or it's really difficult to have a 2.5 mb flash web page on this days where almost everybody have a broadband connection like i have in the office or at home?
