dear all,
I have the following problem:
have a 2.5 report that makes a quite wide text file (special
printdefinition with houdreds of lines and record wide of 500) and runs
without any problem.
have converted it using the 6i conv tool to 6i rep and rdf report.
running the (6i) .rep produce the text file without problems.
when I make some small changes on the 6i .rdf and pass it trough the
wizzard again (only way to produce a default layout so far I know) if
gives at the end an error message that the page is too small. This
while I didn't change nothing concerning pagesizes etc.
changing the lenght of the datarecord (size of the labels) to p.e. 120
is accepted but then the records are wrapped at aproximately position
130/132.
Have tryed a lot of thins but I don't manage to get the report to pass
the wizzart properly.
can maybe anyone help on this or have tips for me ?
thanks on forehand !!
Ronald.
additional:
-designed in character mode
-type is character
-no print job
-tryed all kind of with/high in reports properties
-als portrait, landscape and default did not help
