I'm trying to do a backup on a 2.5 and it keeps coming back to me with error 67 The network name cannot be found? What am I doing wrong? Also, if I'm backing up an entire BCM to load it on another BCM but will not be transferring any Keycodes or anything, what backups do I want to select? I'd actually like to know what each backup is doing as far as description. This unit has adequate keycodes to service their current profile and will just be put in as a loaner.

Any help or comments are appreciated.

I managed to get the BCM to tie into my notebook as I forgot to provide sharing to the BACKUP files. Now, I just need to know what backups I should enable in order to copy a BCM to another BCM which has adequate keycodes to be put in as a temporary loaner while their machine is taken away to be upgraded to 3.7? I just want the voicemail files, recordings and set-up and as well the telephony programming.

All help or comments are appreciated.

Thanks.

It's easier to upgrade the other BCM to 3.7 on site than it is to use a backup.

Well actually the customer thinks there's some flaws in the 2.5 as he lost the Personal Call manager function sometime back and he'd rather have a new 3.7 drive put in and the programming re-loaded from scratch. I've only put 3.6 drives in machines so far and upgraded them. Are 3.7 the same? Just install the new drive and initialize? Some were trying to suggest that you had to step it through some upgrades in order for the msc card to receive upgrades. I never had a problem so far and the modem worked fine? Let me know if you have any info.

Thanks.

I have had the modem problem myself, but if you havn't than I would go ahead and try it. but do an image first incase it doesn't work.
