We have a single line with a 18D set running into our office for our purchasing manager. He just set up an additional office in our warehouse and I am wondering how I can run a new 18D set to the warehouse and have both phones ring at the same extension both in the office and in the warehouse?

I have seen a suggestion about a hunt group and do not know much about those.

You can combine a multiline telephone and a single line telephone, on the same extension number, but you can't combine two multiline sets. The new phone will have its own extension number. Put them corn into CALLING group 2, 3, or 4, and extension 72, 73, or 74 will ring them simultaneously.

Thank you for responding.

I forgot to mention that the guy who set us up initially told us that we are maxed out on extensions. It looks like i'll need to find a single line phone to accomplish this then.

The Partner ACS can support 40+ extensions. Does your system have the full number of extensions, or is it maxed out for the cards that you have (but expansion could be done if additional modules were purchased) [ponder]

Even if there are no slots for cards there are different cards that have different capacities so swapping is needed instead of adding; I am only pointing that out because I have seen over and over where customers purchased new systems because their vendor either didn't understand or didn't share all the possibilities.

The ability to swap out modules hinges upon the revision of the processor, the existing modules and the company's requirements.
