Have somebody downloaded it yet.
On the avaya side is stil 2.1 (15)
You can download the list of resolved bugs but not the sotftware.

If you upgrade VM-Pro is it normal that he still says.
VM-Pro version 2.1 (6)

I read that you don,t have to uninstall VM-Pro.
You can run the patch and its upgraded.

Or is the software on the avaya-side not 2.1 (10)

I read te setup.ini and it says VM-Pro 2.1 (10)?

I had the same prob - I dunno what I did, but it finally came up as .10. I think I uninstalled and then it was fine.

Initally, I performed the "upgrade" and it asked me if I wanted to upgrade etc - so I don't know what went wrong there!

Big70, I uninstalled VM.2.1.(6) complete and saved an mdb copy of my config. Then I installed the downloaded version off the net about 2 hours ago 12 mins to do everything once I had the new version unzipped. Everything came up fine and registered 2.1.(10). Imported my .mdb and was up in no time. You can upgrade with out uninstalling but for now as things are going I prefer the way I know works. If you got the time try it again or revert to the uninstall method works.

Thats strange i did a new setup on a new PC.
first i run VMpro(2.0) and later VMpro 2.1(10).
And it still says version 2.0.

But if i run the update again it says its already installed.

Only thing I can suggest is add/remove programs, have all your downloaded file ready to go, hey Mr. Customer you're going down for 20 and things should run fine once installed. I had similar problem as you do with 2.0.16 going to 2.0.18. From now on unless specified I always do it this way. I checked my version in VM Pro, HELP/ABOUT and came up ,"IP Office Voicemail Pro Client Version 2.1(10)" as a screen shot.

I did an uninstall of VM Pro from 2.0 to 2.1(6) a few weeks ago, exported call flows to mdb etc etc - so not an actual upgrade. All went well - went to do the testing, and all my greetings, custom wav files had been deleted!!! What's that all about - an uninstall surely shouldn't delete all the contents of the grettings folders etc should it?

Uninstall & Reinstall does not usualy delete the custom Wavs.

I did exactly that to upgrade my VM pro with no problmes

export Callflows
uninstall VM
install VM
import call flows
