Does anyone know which version of CSG covers this exam please?

I expect that as nothing on the Citrix website specifies a version number, that it will be V1.0. My problem is that I am evaluating V1.1 at present, so do I need to do other work to find out about V1.0, or are the differences small enough to not affect my answers on the test?

The exam covers 1.1 - or at least, the courseware does. I'm doing this exam in a couple of weeks, so I hope they haven't updated it since I got the courseware (last week...)

Good Luck!

Yep, I believe it is 1.1. I sat it a few months ago. I did get through fairly easily from studying the CSG documentation and being subjected to a difficult installation (lots of debugging!).

One piece of general advice I would give: know the various default values specified during configuration of the Secure Gateway Service and the STA (and other seemingly useless info).

I did lose a few points on some theory not covered in the CSG docos though, such as firewall/proxy models (but hey, general knowledge carried me through).

Good luck.

Thanks both.

It will be a little while before I take this test - the evaluation exercise is something of a sideshow at the moment, so laying hands on routers to set up a test environment with NAT, alternate addresses, port filtering etc is taking time. Once all set up and played with though, I should be in good shape for this exam and also 961 (NFuse 1.7).
