1st 3chars must be unique for user id for bricks?

Hi there,

According to our contract support from a non-CA company, CA advise there are known issues with the RPC agent for Exchange if the first 3chars of the user id are not unique.

Has anyone heard of this?

HI,

This is true...

The mailbox alias associated to the account in question should have the 1st 3 characters - unique..

The agent pulls up the GAL and verifies the info...
If u have another mailboix Alias with the same 3 characters,

You get an error during the configuration..

Failed to Create Profile

We haven't had any 'failed to create profile' errors.

Am I right in assuming this has nothing to do with the RPC agent hanging?
