1Page- 3Tables - trouble with layout

Hi,
I have a page whereby layout is controlled by three tables.
-The first is the menu bar.
-The second will contain page content.
-The third acts like a border at the end of the page-showing a breadcrumb trail.

-I want to keep the same layout for each page.
-For example,one page may have little content(in the 2nd table), and I don't want the page to shrink.
Hope this is clear.

Are you talking consistant width or height?
if you want the height to stay the same I suggest you put a 1pixel width spacer gif in your table and make it the height you want the table to always be. if it's width you want consistant then add a width="000" to the table tag (replace 0's with size you want.)
hope this helps. Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..
