I saw a Nortel Logic 10 on eBay, a typical 1A2 phone and I am considering purchasing it. I was wondering if I could bring standard analog dial tone to one of the line buttons via the 25 pair cable running out of the phone, or does it still need a KSU?

I was thinking of connecting the 1A2 Phones amphenol connector to a 66 block and then taking an analog line out of my Nortel BCM ATA Port and matching it with one of the line buttons in the 1A2 phone via the 66
Block. Is that possible?

It would work for the dial tone on the button, But you wouldn't have a lite or you couldn't put the call on hold. You could probably get the ringer to
work but only on one line. Just put a single line set on the ATA.
