Does anyone have Documents, on the 239A or 229B KTU's
these are Really Old box's that I would like to know a little more about before I be a "bull in a china shop" I would appriciate anything you have.

Wow, talk about dinosaurs! The 229B is a auxiliary relay circuit. Can be used for a lot of things. The 239A is 11 CO line circuits. I have a schematic for the 239A, nothing for the 229B. Where the heck is this still in use?

Well First off My Fax Number is 612-970-9609,(minneapolis) I don't think either item is in any Kind of Current "use" but since they are at a Fire Station I wanted to follow the carpenter addage of "measure twice Cut Once" as there is all kinds of Fire Horns/strobes Etc that also go through this room in the same area,

Yeah, that's how we usually find that old stuff. Hasn't been used in 40 years with the power supply still plugged in and operating! Sometimes there are two or three generations of equipment hanging there that nobody wanted to be bothered to get rid of when they put a new system in.

If you want the schematic let me know but I would say there is nothing there in use if that's all you need to know. Either ignore it or rip it out. I always try to pull all the old stuff out just to eliminate problems like this for other people in the future. Should be part of the job.

he has "Gobs & Gobs" of the Older Stuff, He e-mailed me a Copy of those two things, It's always been One of My Pet Peeves" to remove old Unused stuff as time Permits,

It would be great if these Really old KTU's would be available One PDF or cdrom,
