I have two 1924 switches. Both are running V9.00.04. However, their menu's are different. One lists VLANs as an option (what I want) and the other lists something called bridge-group where VLAN should be. How do I enable VLANs on that switch? What is causing the VLAN option to be replaced by bridge group? HELP!?

There are two versions of software.. one is the A version which is non VLANs.. the other is the E version which offers VLANs. A simple upgrade of the software will get the VLANs for you. If you have a contract with Cisco, you can get the software from their site. Keep in mind with the upgrade it takes two reboots of the switch.. one for the upgrade and one to enable the VLANs ( why? who knows)
