Customer has lost Admin passcodes for programming system and VM.

Is there a way to default them to factory default or is there standard PW's for these sections?

The only way that I'm aware of to factory default the system is to do just that... factory default it. Which will mean a lot of re-programming, depending on how their system is set up.

To "wipe" the system itself, turn off the system, and unplug the battery on the CPU card. Wait about 30 seconds, then plug it back in. The entire system will be defaulted. **WARNING** Understand that this means *DEFAULT*. You'll have to reprogram the system. It takes me about 20 minutes to do a basic programming of a new system; but if you've got non-default extensions, or a bunch of different features on different phones, etc. this will take quite a bit longer.

As far as losing the voicemail admin password, you *may* try going to VM box 632 (NEC); if there is a password on *that* one, give a call to NTAC. They have a back-door into the system to clear the password. I don't know what that is (but if anyone else does, it would be cool to find out. ;)

Just my 2¢
