Have the administration box for the elitemail, but cannot change the selector codes. Is there a way in DTMF programming to change the selector codes for the voicemail as I can only administer to mailboxes and greetings.

REcently received the adminstration software for the 192. Which com port does it plug into on the system? Is there a special cord necessary? Null modem cable?
I can change the password, name, baud rate, etc. through DTMF programming, but woud like to try the software out.

You need a null modem cable. The user name is NEC and the password is the administrator password. The speed can be anywhere from 19.2 to 57.6

It sounds like the software you recieved is SAT which is pc programming of the switch itself, won't do anything for the voicemail. You'll need cosessions software to program the voicemail. It plugs directly into the 9 pin connector on the front of the voicemail.

Correct. There are a number of 25 pin connections on the 192 and there are two com ports on the older voicemails too. You use the one on the bottom while making sure that the dipswitches are all off.

Yep. SAT admin.
There are 4 25 pin com ports on the side of the unit. Which one is the one to use from the serial port on my laptop? Or does it not matter?

I was afraid that you were going to say that I needed another program to play with the voicemail. Hyperterminal on the voicemail port will not work?

Cosessions only runs on windows 95 right?
