1850R Jumper settings 1

Howdo all - I have a 1850R and want to reset the BIOS - does anyone know the settings in the switches to do this?

hi,
BIOS is a program that runs on a computer,adapter,ecc,
independently by OS that run ( specific OC may require
a minimum BIOS level in that equip.)

You cannot reset BIOS, you can down/up-grade it

The equivalent of "erasing CMOS" on Compaq servers is by running the System Erase Utility. That is on the Smartstart CD or can be downloaded from the HP site and run from a floppy. However, it will also erase all your disks and RAID volumes, so you should disconnect them prior to running the System Erase Utility and plug them back afterwards. Finally, after erasing the server, you should press F10 to run the System Configuration Utility, let it do its magic and just reboot.
