We have a Compaq Proliant 1850 server which has started to contantly beep - it sounds like the beep itself is coming from an internal component (motherboard etc)The sound is similar to the overheating alert that some clone PC motherboards make when they get a tad hot. This server is in a temperature controlled environment and is not overheating.
Insight Manager shows no errors against the server itself and all fan's and temperature readings are indicating that they are operating correctly and within limits.
There are no fault lights showing on any LED indicators on the server either.
Also there are no errors reported in the System logs in Event Viewer
