Hi,

1800 numbers are not pulsing out properly on COT trunks. Due to this reason, getting carrier message, "number u've dialled cannot be connected, please check the number you've dialled."

11c, rls 25.30

Thanks,

Amit De

Need to check to see how BARS is written, if there is a DMI table or something of that nature. There isn't usually as much manipulation done on COT trunks for calls to go out as PRI spans.

To test to see if is a PBX issue or a trunk issue, dial the ACOD of the route and then the 1-800 and see if you still receive the same network message. If you get the same message, your carrier either has a problem, or it isn't a valid number that they are trying to dial.

is it just a single 800 number or all of them? if any 800 number works right, then it's not bars.. if it's all of them ld 90 prt 0 net ac1 spn 1800 or npa 1800.. look at the rli go to 86 and print that rlb

Are you in the USA? If so...read on.,..

Seeing that you have two trunk routes, can we assume one is not a LEC (Local Exchange Carrier). That is the problem. Toll Free numbers can only be dialed through a LEC

If you have trunk routes that are from an "IXC" Interstate Exchange Carrier (like Sprint, MCI, long distance lines) then you cannot have an SPN of "1" without some more complicated stuff. You can add all NPAs or you can try your hand at the SDRR ARRN

Might pay to directly connect into each analogue line on this route and try and dial out on each trunk individually. You may also need to check the DMI table 1 as it was not listed above. Confirm that the analogue trunks are not with a carrier that bars the 1800 numbers for any reason. Hope this helps?
