17550BCC TRACEON 208, server process ID (SPID) 13
Can anyone tell me what this is all about. It is appearing in the event viewer on my server very regularly. The server is hosting a couple of hundred machines all running a VB app that front ends a SQL database. I have searched around and found nothing at all.

Any ideas?

Hmmm...odd, since 208 is not a valid trace flag (at least not in SQLS7).

Is it possible someone has added it to an app as a debugging tool, then forgot to remove it?
