Hi all,
I am a first time user. You fellas have a nice forum running.

My client has bought a business and wants me to setup DSL at his office and he wants a secure connection from his cable at home, which is a non cisco modem to the office,

Looking at the cisco products.. I figure the best is a 1720.
What I want is a DSL connection to the internet, one ethernet to the DMZ and one ethernet to the private lan.
He wants to run a webserver thus I will put it in the DMZ.

The 1720 will be the only security device doing firewalling and IDS.

Will the 1720 support 2 ethernet interfaces and a DSL wic ?

I know that a 1720 cannot support 3 ethernets for some reason cause a colleague of mine tried it once, without success. (This would have been ideal for me)

Does this router meet my needs and will I only need to install the Cisco Secure VPN client at his home.

Are there any good docs to lean how to setup all the VPN stuff on cisco routers.. I am at info overload from there website.

thanks.
