1720 router problem

Does anyone have any problems with their Cisco 1720 with ISDN wic getting their external email to work? I am having a toght time getting my email through. Internet access is fine, but no mail. Have narrowd it down to some problem on the router, possibly, or the route the mail takes once it leaves the router. Perhaps one of the hops is causing a problem<br>

Are you sure that you have the TCP port enabled, no access lists are in place that are above 101. Are the mails leaving the router, I.e will it bring the ISDN line high when you send them.
