Having a bit of a weird issue. Have a new server edition going in on 9.1.9 (numerous reasons why not 10 that I am not going to go into). We have plugged the first handset in (a 1608L). It boots up and then gets to a screen saying

HTTPS:1
We have tried clearing the phone and obviously rebooting it. I have also rebooted the SE. Nothing changed.

I then looked at the file management for the SE and couldn't actually see the 16xxupgrade.txt file on the system (under Disk->system->Primary)

It is in the manager folder on the PC - so can I just manually upload it? If so why isnt it already in the folder?

Cheers

I get - "Embedded File Server File Does Not Exist" when I go to that address, however when I go to (this is the secondary server) it returns an actual 16xxupgrade.txt file.

No to find out why!

Hhhm okay, removed the file I manually uploaded and went to the address again and this time it showed an autogenerated one.

Will have to get the customer to retest.

If the system detects one (46xx... ; 16xx....) it will not show the auto generated one even if the file should be corrupt or the server just being hormonal and not being able to handle or provide it. So I think that was the reason in your case.

If you however uploaded one it should NOT show the auto generated file. [ponder]
