16XX series phones

Hi Lads,

Is there anybody using this type of phones?
I have few issues with them, the just hang up, or I can`t type in any thing on the keypad.
Yesterday I`ve seen in on of my customers phones was doing wierd things.

On incomming call phone was ringing but there was no voice.
SSA was showing that call is being answered by the phone and the call is in progres but there was no speach.
When they try do dial out, they couldn`t type any number.
Phone was showing only fiew digits.
I type in phone number and only 3 digits show up, after I lift up the a hand set next 2 digit show up, then when I hang up next digits show up and the phone stay like this for next 10 sec.

I had similar problem in my office, on the call phone just reeboot without no reason. After reeboot it was asking me for extension to log in not the user.
Next time phone keypad just hanged. I wasn`t able to type in any digits or do anything. But the phone was on by this time.

Did anybody exprerience that kind of isses?
Is there any new firmware for those phones?

Did you upgrade the phone's ?

You need to because it has the wrong firmware on it by default !

had the same issue the files have been recieved correctly.

check that the https settings and the tftp settings are correct

Also check if the phones have at least 2 appearance keys.

Have a working installation with about 40 16XX phones. have been seeing some of the issues you are referring to, mainly the missing digits when dialing. I am using 1.030, but my partner just sent me a new firmware yesterday that should correct this issue with the missing digits, plus making the phone more "responsive", I.E faster in reactions to button push.

Ill let you know how it turns out with the next cpl of days.

They have 2 apperance keys bas1234.

I updated the firmware to release newest what the supply me which was hb1616ua1_020.bin
and I found yesterday another one hb1616ua1_030.bin
on website

I see how they go now

Strange our 16xx are running 1.045 on 4.2.11?!
