1608 on IPO v9.0 PROCPSWD restarts the phone 1

When I press * to program the settings, I used to press # when prompted for a password; now the telephone shows "restarting" and cycles again...

Tried default 9999 , same result. Now since the settings are no good, the phone doesn't finish its boot process (stops at wrong router?) so I can't sue mute craft, and if I use the *, stuck in endless cycles.

If it's the first thing you see on bootup, you can't access the network settings with * when dhcp is starting; fascinating!

Tried CRAFT as the procpwd?
Also look in the 46xxsettings.txt file where that phone came from.

Bas is right, newer firmware has CRAFT# even for 16xx.

CRAFT# is the password. If you have to reset a phone, it is craftclear now as well. Only on newer phones.

I have seen it but it could be a release doc for the phone firmware.
Perhaps i remembered this as being not in instead being in a techbulletin.

That explains it; it's new to 8.1 FP, not 9.0. No wonder I couldn't find it.

9.0 has this firmware too but the 9.0 GA tech bully is lacking all the info that is needed.
I think even the 1.0 GA tech bully was better then this one
