ran into this issue ,cust has a ip500 running 7.0.27. cust exp a power outage last week
and cust has 20 16XX sets . all came up except 7
cust did not remember login code for phones
we went out and changed login code and were able to login phones
approx 10 min later all 7 phones began to reboot every 2.5 min or less.
they reset then firmware good then boots up then recycle again.
cust confirmed 2 diff vlans for voice and data ,we also suspected maybe cisco switch lost config but they confirmed it didnt .
we also statically assigned 1 for testing and same issue .
any ideas or related issues

Hi, you could try resetting the phones to factory and then setting them back up, or let it come up on it's own.
To clear the phone do this: Mute 2 5 3 2 7 # (Mute C L E A R #)

Hellow
zandoleee even me I faced this issue and I tried to solve via ur suggestion but it fails,,,,,,
Finally I decide to buy the new phone.....I try to keep what you say (MUTE CLEAR) 25327

options values.
1. While the telephone is on-hook and idle, press the following sequence of keys on the
faceplate of the telephone:
Mute 2 5 3 2 7 # (Mute C L E A R #)
Note:
Note: Press the Mute button momentarily. Do not press this button while pressing other
keys/buttons.
The following text displays left-justified at the top of the display:
2. If you do not want to clear all values, press * (no) to terminate the procedure and retain the
current values.
A screen displays the following prompt on the top line:
Clear all values?
*=no #=yes

What happes when you only connect 1 of the IP endpoints?

If that one works, then check the MAC Adress using the system status..

There was an issue some time ago that all 16xx IP endpoints got the same MAC address after a downgrade of the firmware.

Nop the phones while am entering the digit of reset.....no any action was happened

Yes we cleared all values hard reset
There thinking the phones went bad after power outage , it's just strange all 7
Oh and they use hot desk also

What we shall do when we find all phone have the same MACADDRESS @ Okkie26

You need to replace them, only "Avaya" can fix that.

Make sure you have new firmware for the phones on the webserver so they don't get downgraded when you plugin a new phone.
