Hi guys,
I'm having a high incidence of problem devices being returned by a client, but when I connected the devices in our lab I realized that the devices work perfectly, when I investigated better, I noticed that the devices suddenly erased or had problems of Strange noises or randomly lit buttons, the device are being powered by the 2960 Plus cisco POE switch on the client, but some device of the same model and of the same time continue to function normally. The switch meets the same standard required in the device manual (IEEE 802.3af).
Actions taken so far:
- I tested the devices that did not connect to the cisco switch on a Dell switch and it works normally;
- updated to the latest available firmware 16xx-IPT-H323-R1_3_10-090916 and did not solve;
- I tested it with an external source (1600PWRUS) on the same port and it works normally.
Has anyone ever had a similar problem?
Has anyone have any idea how we can solve this problem?
Sorry for my bad english and thank you in advance for the help.
