We have 1603SW-I (icon) part No. 700508258. Does it work on PoE..?

The KB says

Requirements for IP interface: (1603, 1603SW, 1603-I, 1603SW-I)
• Power Supply: Optional IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) adapter (class 2) or optional wall plug local power supply.

You need the silly POE adaptor thing, you're better off with a 1608 really :)

Thanks Amriddle01 and hairlessupportmonkey... I am in a soup..!! have already procured tons of 1603SW-I...!!

The adapter plus the phone is probably the same price as the 1608's
Maybe you can give them back.

Indeed, the phone plus adaptor is a few quid cheaper than a 1608 that's it, you get more buttons, more functions and less hassle with the 1608s...but you're stuck I guess, so it'll be the adaptors or the little power blocks for you :)

$20 in difference. Return them if you can, customer will be much better off with 1608.

Display is better/bigger, headset port, less hassel.

Kind regards

Gunnar
