We have a 1603r router thats been on a shelf for a while but that i would
now like to use. However, on boot i get the following messages:
boot of "cisco2-c1600" using boot helper "eprom:c1600-rboot-r.120-3.T"
failed
loadprog: error - on file open
boot: cannot load "cisco2-C1600"
Then it seems to try and boot from flash:
device does not contain a valid magic number
boot: cannot open "flash:"
boot: cannot determine first file on device "flash:"
In the end it does boot to a prompt: routername<boot>>
The wic1T card is not recognised though.
Is this a recoverable situation?
Any help would be greatly appreciated on the matter.
Thanx, ric.
