16 GB limit - Exchange 2K3

Does anyone know if the 16 GB limit for the 'Standard' edition of Exch 2003 is per database or for the total of all information stores. The following link

isn't very specific. Any clarity on the topic would be most helpful. Thanks in advance.

I believe you can have only one database (though you can also have the recovery database). That DB is limited to 16 GB.

As far asI know, it is 16GB per database and you can have 2 DBs under 2003 Standard.

- 16-gigabyte (GB) data storage maximum.

With Exchange 2003 Enterprise Edition, you get:
All the features and products included in Exchange 2003 Standard Edition.

- Database size limited only by your hardware (with a maximum size of 16 terabytes).
-Multiple databases per server.
