Customer has a Legend R6 with a PRI. The provider came on-site and made the calls through a T-bird before the Legend. I tried changing the special services table from 3 to 0, that didn't work. Any other Ideas?

Make sure the station users calling international have an FRL level sufficent to make those calls, or change the FRL of the ARS table to match the users.

Also they can dial up to 15 digits all day. Its when the number has 16 that it doesn't go through.

THey may need to delete 3 digits and then tag it as a national call. Calls can be tagged as national and international. I had a site once along time ago we had the same issue.

Well, I'm figuring that if you didn't massage anything in your NETWORK SELECTION Table, these settings could be the cause of your problem:

Network Selection Table
Entry Number: 0 1 2 3
Pattern to Match: 101**** 10***
Special Service Table
Entry Number: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Pattern to Match: 011 010 01 00 0 1
Operator: none OP OP OP/P OP none none none
Type of Number: I I I N N N N N
Digits to Delete: 3 3 2 2 1 0 0 0

[/color blue]

The default strips out the 011 & 010 entries.

Could this be your issue?

Hi socalsteve,

Who is the service provider and what CO switch is it connected to?

What Merlinman stated above is true. I found this out when I cutover a client to PRI in DEC2005. This perticular client is served by Pacific Bell - Fullerton CO w/ a 5ESS. At first I changed the default to 0. But no IDDD would work. So I changed it back to delete 3 and the calls to Japan went thru. The only thing is I don't remember who many digits the calls had. Usually on international calls you terminate with a # to tell the switch to process the call.

Here is a print of the Legend I worked on:

A Network Selection Table

A Entry Number: 0 1 2 3
A Pattern to Match: 101**** 10***

A Special Service Table

A Entry Number: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
A Pattern to Match: 011 010 01 00 0 1
A Operator: none OP OP OP/P OP none none none
A Type of Number: I I I N N N N N
A Digits to Delete: 3 3 2 2 0 0 0 0

This appears to work, although I could never get the OPERATOR codes 01 or 00 to work!
