Has anyone had any experience using SIP GSM gateways with mitel

- MIVoice Business is latest version 13.0.1.53 7.0 SP1 PR2


If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

and due to an endless stream of MiCollab , MiCC issues
Life would be simpler If only they tested products properly before releasing them .....

Hello Bill,

About 6 years ago I had the same requirement and I chose Quescom.

Pros: extremely good quality, robust, crystal clear audio.

Cons: Extremely expensive, if I'm not wrong I payed over a 1000 Euros for a 2 channel GSM/SIP Gateway. Also extremely difficult to configure. We don't use it anymore as we use SIP trunks these days with excellent rates to mobiles.

There are other gateways out there, 2N is another gateway manufacturer from czheck Republic, expensive as well.

Try the chinese manufacturers, surely they should have less expensive ones.

We have used smaller 2n devices and may end up using their larger rack mounted unit.
