I am a relatively inexperienced programmer, producing apps to solve local requirements.
I have a Win 3.11/VB3/Crystal Reports 6.0/486DX66 machine with the 16 bit version of Crystal Reports 6.0 installed. This has been used for years (upgrading from Crystal Reports 3 as supplied with VB to CR 4.0, CR 4.5 and then to CR 6.0 to maintain and develop a largish VB3 app that works fine and it is not economical or necessary to move up to VB5/6.
The second machine has Pentium(Compaq 6350/4.3)/Windows 95/VB5 and VB3/Crystal Reports 6.0 (32 bit version)installed.
I want to get rid of the 486 set up and the question is: can I install the 16 bit version of CR 6, separately and in addition to, the 32 bit version on the Win 95 machine so that I can continue to use the appropriate version in development of VB3 and VB5 apps?
