i remember this being discussed but i cannot find the thread to fix it

i have brand new avaya 1220s that i am trying to install on a BCM50 3.0 that has other 1220s (that say nortel on them)

i hit the 4 soft keys enter the correct ip info blah blah blah


then the phone just keeps rebooting and never installs

any ideas?

will the latest patch: BCM050.R300.SU.System-266

fix this?

The new Avaya phones must have later firmware than what is currently listed in the BCM. I don't have details on the latest patch 266 firmware, but it would have the latest issue when it was released.

The problem is that it's not supported now and I don't think we will see anymore updates for release 3.
