Hello,
I have made the checkout on a shopping website to be only accessible with https, by checking the https server variable to be on.

Users complain that their browser doesn't support 128bit SSL.

What can be done? Where is the problem?
Anyone...any ideas?

IE 5.5 is the earliest version to support 128 bit encryption I believe. Previous versions of this browser only support up to 64 bit encryption. I'm not sure about other browsers, such as Netscape.

If a client browser does not support 128 bit encryption then it's never going to show pages encrypted at that level, so either your users need to upgrade their browser or you need to lower your encryption. Unfortunately I do not know how you would go about lowering your encryption - or indeed if it's actually possible
