I have a ton of 1220's upgraded to 2gb ram, optional to Win8 or POSready7. I need to make room in storage for newer equipment. I've actually been able to run these with v14, when configured properly. They are however a little slower to boot, once aloha gets up it's pretty decent. I've been installing these for the past couple years. I still have some running for a year and a half now pretty solid.
Has anyone set up the 1220's using anything other than Aloha with success? I'd be interested to hear what you used them for. I'd love to find other ways to get rid of these units, or maybe use them for something else.
