1200 Series Phones with BCM 400

Has anyone tried to use the 1200 series phones on a BCM 400? I see that they are "not supported" but I've learned in the past that "not supported" doesn't necessarily mean it won't work. I have a school that would like IP phones in each of their classrooms. They want entry-level type phones (like a 2001) but they want something with a switchport in the back for the teacher's PC. The 1210 seems to fit nicely but I want to be sure it will work. Any tips/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Nortel doesn't support it on the BCM 400 yet so I wouldn't sell it to a customer. Use either the i-series or the 1100 series sets.
