Can anyone explain the relationships of the 11C SSC, the SSC daughterboard, the security dongle and the keycode sheet?
I'm asking because after jumbling up our daughterboards, the systems are booting to the install mode.
Whenever we get to the keycode section, it fails the validation! We have the correct keycode sheets which match the dongle #. What gives?
Question #2:
When you remove a daughterboard, you lose your cust config data, but not the system software, right?
Is the daughterboard somehow "coded" to the dongle after the first s/w install?
Thanks in advance to all who answer.

the daughter board comes in the box with the dongle, and the keycodes, if you try to swap either of the three you get security mismatch, not an install screen.. not mister option 11 but that mistake, i have made.. Hire 2000 people and buy a 81, much easier to work on.

John, thanks for the tip. That would explain some of the problems. Good to know that the components need to be kept together as a set.
We've learned our lesson.
This morning I shippped 6 11C Controllers out to our vendor for re-assembly, install, whatever it takes to get them operational.
