I am unable to take backup of Meridian 11c.
Whenever i give command "xbk" in LD 143 , its starts Backing up but never completes. Its stuck in middle point

I did find this report, assuming that your Option 11c is a release 03.00 or later.
I would follow the method to check your "z" drive for disk space first!.

There were special patches issued as release 04.00 and I think 04.50 that stops the other patches from being dumped onto the "z" drive. This is why it is important to know the software version.

Problem
Option 11C / CS1000 Small System
System with large database goes into reboot loop if rebooted.

Answer
SETUP FOR THE PROBLEM:
SSC rls 03.00 system with a large database. Recommended deplists and loose patches installed

Actions:
Reboot the system after a ISM or Feature upgrade (or because of power failure).

Expected Response:
The system to reboot, and to work OK afterwords.

Actual Response:
The system goes into a reboot loop, and does not come up again:

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Check z drive free space. For that, type in pdt :
pdt> cd z:/
pdt> chkdsk
If you have less than 393216 bytes free on 'z:'

Install this patch and make an EDD in ld 43. ** Note special instructions: make non-vulnerable to sysloads **

If you encountered problem indicated by a BUG7429, invoke the following
z: drive recovery process:

1) Power off the system
2) Power on the system
3) Press key 'ctrl B'
4) Access to prompt FBUG>
5) At the prompt FBUG> type the command ct

Just to be clear on what you are doing, you are attempting to do a full backup from an Option 11c system using the serial port from either TTY 0, 1 or 2 etc onto your computer?

You should be using the X Modem protocol. From your photo, it looks as if you aren't doing this.

Please refer to the attached guide I did.
