11C adding printer to new terminal

Terminal had to be replaced on 11C. Existing Microline printer no "locks up" terminal when the printer is activated. How do I change settings to allow printer to be activated? Could it be another issue besides settings?

does the printer work for a little bit then lock up the terminal or every time you enable printing from terminal.

What type of terminal is it - VT520, Wyse 50 ???

If you do a print screen does it print?

It does lock up the terminal every time you try to enable the printer. I believe the terminal is a VT520. The printer did work fine with the terminal that was replaced.

Look to see where the printer is connected on the back of the terminal (usually port 3 or parrallel connecter right in the middle)
press f3 to go into setup
use the arrow keys to navigate through menu
scroll down to printer
scroll right to port and hit enter
select the correct printer port - scroll to ok
if you are on port 2 or 3 scroll to port speed, probably 9600

scroll left and down to save
test

It is possible that the printer speed is something other than 9600, if not try 2400 then 1200.
