Hello, does the 1165E Color Display phone work on the BCM platform yet?

Also, is there a color KEM available?

Thank you.

The 1165 isn't supported (I haven't tried one but I doubt that it would work, wouldn't even register to a CS1000 until I upgraded to 6.0). The 2007 is supported if you're needing a color display. No color display KEMs are available yet.

By the way, it would make sense if Avaya wants to market this color display phone, that they should have a color KEM module so the phone matches. The Cisco Blue KEM looks quite nice attached to a color 7975 set.

Agreed. If this thing ever supports SIP terminals maybe you could use one of those Cisco phones.

Mr. Oldest,

I have an 1140E that I had running on 2.2 SIP which is entirely free, right next to my BCM so I can experiment between the 2. I am running it right on my SIP carrier, but the license says its in evaluation and will expire after a certain amount of days....do you have any knowledge with this?

Thanks,

Oh I forgot to mention, I just upgraded the firmware to 4.0 and that is where the mention of licensing comes up as opposed to 2.2 which is entirely free.

Thanks - I wasn't aware of the licensing issue on the 1140E. That's something I'll keep in mind. Hopefully, if the license does expire you can downgrade and it will still work at the 2.2 release.
