I have a customer who has had a series of failures on 1140e ip handsets. The blue and red lights on the top of the handset start flashing and nothing is shown in the display, there is no dial tone on the handset.
When he removes the network cable and reboots the handset (phones use power cables not POE) the phone comes up ok with a cable disconnect message. If he then connects the network cable the fault re-occurs. He has swapped out with new handsets which work fine.
Has anyone had similar experiences with these sets and if so do you have a resolution?
