I am trying to install a bluetooth headset on an 1140e set on a BCM 400 R4.0. The set works fine but when I go into preferences the Bluetooth setting is grayed out. I checked the settings and Bluetooth is set to Auto. Any ideas?

When you physically register the phone, you will go into the network configuration. You access it by pressing the second button on the right hand side below the display, then Network configuration. Down towards the bottom you will see BlueTooth enable Y or N.
You have to set it to enabled, then you can go into the Preferences and the Bluetooth option will be ready

I have the same problem.

The option is grayed out when I try to turn it on.

How do I get to the network administration if the phone has already been registered?
