Customer has a BCM 400 4.0 with analog trunks. They have six A&R lines they want to put on a 1140E IP phone. I know the 1140 only has 6 keys and with two intercom keys, that only allows 4 other keys to be built. There is an expansion unit available for this phone. Can lines be added to the expansion unit so the customer can have the 6 B1 line appearances on this phone (example, 091, 092, 093, etc)?

i cant't be certain about it but if you set the expansion as a CAP module this will normally allow you to assign Lines to expansion modules
This is how it works on a Kim module

YES absolutely you can but you must assign KLM to that station and then do a FTR 81 to move lines over then add remaining. Works fine!

Awesome, thanks guys

In this case the customer was wanting individual line appearances...
