1140e & 12007 firmware installation process

We are trying to upgrade a 1140e & i2007 ip phone firmware... we got the latest version, we ar running a tftp server and the download process goes fine....

But once it's downloaded, it automatically reboot and keeps the old version.... HOW DO WE APPLY THE NEW FIRMWARE for a final installation process......

U can't for BCM sets. BCM ip sets get f/w via BCM patches. Usually imbedded w/ other patches. Unless there's a patch out that contains the latest f/w ur outta luck. Check the released patches and see if one contains a newer version than the one that's currently on your system.

So do you know which BCM50 patches gives the latest 1140 firmware.... my customer has a 2.0... should I upgrade to 3.0

SU_System 13 is the latest SU for Bcm50 rel 2.0.
